Mellow Skateboards
MIXING A PASSION FOR DESIGN AND SKATEBOARDING
I started Mellow Skateboards as a passion project where I could explore brand identity and creativity outside of my in-house design work. The brand was influenced by graffiti art and my love for video games and comics. The skateboards and shirts were sold at a friend's skate shop in Bradenton, FL and online after launch. The project has since ended, but I’m left with fond memories of connecting with skateboarding fans and learning how to launch a product.

Design, Illustration, Art Direction, Production
I researched and spoke with vendors to learn how to translate the art into the best possible quality prints. I recruited friends to help me take photos and model the products. The skateboards were made in the USA and manufactured by Drifter Skateboards in Atlanta, Georgia. T-shirts were printed by a local clothing company named Clothesline Printing.
